According to Yonhap News,

(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province will issue discount coupons for travelers in a bid to draw more tourists during the winter tourism off-season.

Around 190 restaurants, hotels, shopping centers, and tourist agencies in Daegu an North Gyeongsang participate in the discount program.

The program, which offers 10 to 50% discount for accommodations and leisure activities, runs through the end of May next year.

Travelers can save up to KRW 70,000 for a two-day tour using the discount program, according to the province.

Coupons will be available in printed version, as well as in mobile and online vouchers.

Mobile coupons will be offered from WeChat, a mobile app popularly used among Chinese tourists, while online coupons can be downloaded from the Gyeongsangbuk-do Tour website and Daegu's Coupon Book website.

Printed coupons will be distributed at participating stores, tourist information centers, and tourist spots.
