(DAEGU=Yonhap News) The 14th International Green Energy is set to open April 5 at the Daegu EXCO.
Co-hosted by Daegu City and North Gyeongsang Province, the expo will be held for four days, with a total of 258 companies from korea and abroad operating some 650 booths.
At the event, scholars and experts will present latest research findings in new and renewable energy fields, and how they may be applied to the cultivation of new growth industries.
Prominent participants will include solar cell manufactures, having recovered from a long slump, as well as energy storage system (ESS) companies.
Daegu Mayor Kwon Young-jin said he hoped the exhibition will serve as a turning point, opening a new era for new and renewable energy sources.
