DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Three companies based in the city of Daegu were selected as World Class 300 companies by the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA).

The new addition puts 28 local firms on the list in total, making Daegu the region outside the greater Seoul area with the greatest number of World Class 300 companies.

From 2011 to 2016, SMBA has selected 230 small and medium business with determination and growth potential to cultivate them into "hidden champions" of the global market.

An additional 36 businesses were selected earlier this year, and 35 more additions will follow in the second half of 2017.

The three Daegu companies selected were Sewon Precision & Industry, CIS (Creative & Innovative Systems), and SKF Sealing Solutions Korea.
