DAEGU < invest Korea

(DAEGU=Newsis News) The city of Daegu and maker of auto parts and materials Iljin Group are scheduled to sign an agreement on May 16 at the Daegu City Hall to join hands to nurture and develop the local future automotive industry.

Based on the agreement, the two parties will cooperate on developing technology for future cars, and actively work with other auto-related support organizations and businesses to that end, said the city on May 15.

Iljin Group also plans to participate in the city's future car development projects, investing in the local economy and building production facilities in the area.

The Daegu City Government is currently focusing on transforming itself into an eco-friendly advanced industrial city that can lead in the 4th industrial revolution.

Founded in 1973, Iljin Group is a global maker of wheel bearings with 4 affiliates in Korea, and 11 overseas business establishments.
