DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Keimyung University announced June 2 that it has agreed to promote exchange with the prestigious Jagiellonian University of Krawkow, Poland.

That day, a delegation from the Polish university visited Keimyung's main campus in Daegu, and discussed the details of the agreement signed to that effect earlier this year in March.

During the discussions, the two parties agreed to exchange three students and two professors each year, and cooperate in biomedical research, including on robpt-assisted surgery.

Founded in 1364, Jagiellonian is Poland's oldest university whose famous alumni includes astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus and Pope John Paul II.

Keimyung president Synn Il-hi noted that he expects "the convergence education provided in collaboration with a prestigious European university will help in the university;'s effort to cultivate a new type of professionals needed to lead in the 4th industrial revolution."
