DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(DAEGU=Yonhap News) The Daegu Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (CCEI) has appointed Regional Industry Director Yeon Kyu-Hwang as its 2nd President.

Yeon has previously worked as Managing Partner at Gartner Research & Advisory Korea and CEO of DIC (Dainippon Ink and Chemicals) Korea, and began his post at Daegu CCEI in 2014.

As regional industry director, Yeon is widely regarded to have played a significant role in the center's efforts to revitalize the local startup ecosystem and build a foundation for traditional industries to adopt advanced technologies through organic cooperation with the city of Daegu and related organizations.
