DAEGU < invest Korea

(DAEGU=Newsis News) The Daegu city government visited the city of Da Nang in Vietnam, and held a meeting on launching the Da Nanag Smart City Disaster Prevention and Safety System project.

According to the city, the project was selected as part of the interior ministry's 2017 project to support outstanding electronic government systems to enter foreign markets.

When completed, the smart IT system will incorporate the particular circumstances of Da Namang, to raise the safety level for tourists and better control urban disasters in the city.

Based on the project's master plan, the city will also apply for Korea International Cooperation Agency's 2019 government development assistance project, expanding exchange between regional electronic governments, and helping local ICT companies enter foreign markets.
