(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu-based Korea Textile Development Institute (KTDI) announced July 17 that it has signed a business agreement with the Korean Textile Engineers Association (KTEA).
KTEA is an association of certified textile engineers in spinning, fabric processing and dyeing.
The two parties agreed to cooperate on exchanging expert advice on technological support for businesses, appointing lecturers for seminars and education opportunities, finding new business items, and creating a stronger network withing the industry.
KTDI expects the textile engineers, who have adundant experience in both theory and practice, will be of immense help to textile companies.
KTDI President Mun Hye-gang said, "KTDI will work with expert textile engineers to find more effective ways to support companies."
