DAEGU < invest Korea

(DAEGU=Yonhap News) The Korea Brain Research Institute (KBRI) and the Korea Society for Brain and Neural Science (KSBNS) announced August 14 that the 7th Congress of the Federation of Asian-Oceanian Neuroscience Societies (FAONS) will be held in Daegu in September 2019.

The FAONS Congress is a biannual event where neurosciences from around the glob gather to exchange research findings and information.

The final decision was made at a recent symposium held from August 11 to 13 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Meanwhile, the 10th World Congress of Neuroscience of the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) is also set to take place in the city in 2019 from September 21 to 25.

The KBRI expects the two events to help Daegu grow into the brain research center of Korea.
