(SEJONG=Yonhap News) The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs announced September 20 that it will be holding the 2017 Korea International Livestock Expo (KISTOCK) on September 21 to 24 at the Daegu EXCO.
A total of 276 businesses are scheduled to participate in the event hosted by the Hanwoo Association and the KISTOCK Organizing Committee, and organized by the Hanwoo Association, Korea Dairy & Beef Association, Korea Pork Producers Association, Korea Poultry Association, Korea Duck Association, and Korea Association for Livestock Housing & Environment Machinery.
Throughout the expo, exhibitions will be held to showcase livestock machinery , feed, medicine, and products for pets, and there will also be opportunities to visit barns and ride horses.
Opening hours span from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday to Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is free for all visitors.
