(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu Technopark announced January 8 that it has launched a task force to find future strategy projects and raise the competitiveness of local companies in preparation for the fourth industrial revolution.
Three centers (nano, mobile, bio) and the Policy Planning Team will participate in the task force, named the Convergence Strategy Planning Team, which will be led by the head of the Nano Convergence Practical Application Center.
The structure was designed in consideration of how cooperation-type competition between companies of various sizes in identical and different sectors will become common in the future as the fourth industrial revolution proceeds.
The task force held a kick-off meeting on January 4, and plans to send members to the world's largest electronics trade show, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas to learn about the latest technologies and product
Daegu Technopark will be the only corporate support agency in Korea to participate in the CES for six years in a row since 2013.
