(DAEGU=Yonhap News) On May 11, Daegu Technopark revealed it signed a multi-lateral business agreement with Vietnamese national broadcasting company affiliate VTV cab, Daegu Smart Venture Campus and mobile cosmetic distribution company Yeosim.
The 4 companies agreed to expand the entry of Daegu companies in Vietnamese markets and foster the multi-channel business network in Vietnam.
VTV cab is a comprehensive cable broadcasting networking consisting of 30 HD channels, 70 analog cable channels and 150 SD digital channels.
Daegu Technopark representatives stated they are looking forward to the partnership as it will lead to greater exposure and distribution of Daegu companies' products in Vietnam.
Yeosim is one of the companies from the Daegu Smart Venture Campus that uses video commerce (V-Commerce) to certify products, create content and market products with a grant from the Vietnamese government.
Daegu Technopark plans to bring K-beauty and K-food companies that are gaining popularity in Vietnam, closer together with Vietnamese consumers through TV and mobile devices.
Popular products include mask packs, traditional Korean foods like ddukbokki, blood glucose testing kit, portable wireless home appliances, fine dust masks and motorcycle goods.
