(DAEGU=Yonhap News) On July 10 (MSK), Daekyung Robot Enterprise Promotion Association (REPA) and Russia's Robotics Association signed an MOU to expand their cooperation in the robotics industry at the 2018 INNOPROM Expo in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

The two associations will cooperate over exchanges and joint R&D between universities and robotics research institutions as well as over exhibitions and marketing efforts.

They will also take part in the Korea-Russia Robotics Industry International Cooperation Development Forum on July 11.

Daegu City hopes to link the core robotics technologies of both sides to create new markets and revitalize the economy.
