(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency (DIP) announced on August 17 that it will nurture contents developer for Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).
For six months from September 3 to the end of February next year, 27 people will be selected to take a training course for VR & AR contents developers based on interactive visual media.
The trainees will acquire skills of algorithm, basic mathematics and physics, and controlling simulator equipment. They will also participate in practical projects to raise application skills.
Specialists with more than 10 years of field experience and developers from 86 companies will provide mentoring programs.
It is a free training program and trainees will be granted with incentives every month.
