ICT Convergence Expo Korea 2018 will be held from September 13 to 15 at Exco, Daegu.

Exco said on September 12 the event is co-hosted by Daegu City, Ministry of Science and ICT, and Gyeongbuk-do Province and will present products that use high-tech ICT convergence technology.

Marking its 13th year, the Expo will host 450 booths for 130 domestic and overseas companies.

Advanced technologies and products related to ICT industry such as smart city, sports ICT, Internet of Things, VR, AR and drone, will be presented. Various side events are prepared, including ICT convergence conference where scholars from home and abroad can share their research outcomes.

This year, "Cyber Secure Zone" will be newly organized.

Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) imagery information security enterprises will participate in the Cyber Secure Zone.

Experience programs will be prepared for the visitors to feel and experience the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The programs include AR climbing, 4D VR simulator, E-mobility experience, drone racing and drone soccer.

"I hope this Expo will provide support to related domestic and international companies and present a new vision by strengthening support programs for research institutes," said Kim Sang-wook, CEO of Exco.
