(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu and Gwangju signed an agreement of cooperation at the Daegu Citizen Madang on December 13th to promote reciprocal socioeconomic growth between the two cities.

The Daegu Association of Social Ventures, Gwangju Association of Social Economy and Daegu-Gwangju Social Economy Support Center attended the signing event.

The two cities will facilitate joint production of goods including souvenirs representing socioeconomic ventures, sales and promotion of regional special goods, and joint forums to revitalize social economy.

The shared consensus of the need for a strong cooperation system between the two cities to meet the country's national agenda of promoting social economy led to signing of the agreement, according to the city of Daegu.

"Daegu will proactively develop joint business models with Gwangju City and put its best efforts to realize them," said, the city's Vice Mayor of Administration.
