Daegu Center for Creative Economy & Innovation welcomed startups joining the 8th Creative Laboratory (C-LAB), a startup accelerating program on February 13.
13 startups will participate in 10-month regular program, and can attract "Enlight's 2nd CD Fund" additionally up to KRW 400 million after review on growth potential and business performance.
The startups also established a mentoring relationship with working-level officials from Samsung Electronics, who will provide help, in the form of talent donation, in resolving startup's technical issues and problems.
The startups completed a two-month pre-requisite course including negotiations on initial investment of KRW 100 million and moved in to CCEI's 3th-4th floor.
CCEI Daegu selected those startups among about 300 teams applied for the public contest in August-October last year and plans to have 20 teams in total move in, adding several teams taking consideration of recommendations by venture capital.
A CCEI official said "to promote C-LAB participating companies grow as innovative startups, our center will think and provide support in company's perspectives".
