Kyungpook National University's Techno Park (TP) and Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CCEI) have been picked as managing institutions for 2019 Package Support Program for Startups.
For the Package Support Program for Startups, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups appoints managing institutions for each region to discover and support innovative enterprises in the stage for expansion (3-7 years old).
Kyungpook National University's TP and Daege CCEI will foster innovative enterprises, focused on new growth enginges such as automobiles, medical, robot, energy, and smart city, backed by government budget of KRW 6.9 billion and Daegu city budget of KRW 300 million.
A city official said, "We will actively provide support so that sales growth and job creation of the companies entering the expansion stage can contribute to reinvigorating regional economy."
