"Healthcare 4.0 Daegu-Gyeongbuk Cooperation Forum" was held on April 25 at Communication Center, Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Innovation Foundation (DGMIF).
On April 24, DGMIF announced that the forum is a venue for those involved in healthcare and medical device industry, academia, research, and government agencies to share the industry trend and future prospect of the healthcare industry, as well as presenting business plans.
The DGMIF plans to launch core technologies co-development projects for the Healthcare 4.0 including artificial intelligence (AI) medical devices, medical big data, and digital healthcare covered during the forum in cooperation with the Gumi Electronics & Information Technology Research Institute (GERI).
A DGMIF official said, "with the advent of Healthcare 4.0 era that converges technologies of separate fields through the 4th industrial revolution, we will lay the foundation for the win-win development by building an ecosystem of the medical device industry in the region."
