(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu Science Festival 2019 is to be held for two days starting from August 31 at EXCO.

The 16th Science Festival offers various events giving hands-on experience of future science technologies including VR, AI, and 3D printing, with a theme of "Future Science, leading innovation of Daegu."

There will be science and culture performance, lecture, golden-bell quiz and other side events that all the citizens from kids to adults enjoy.

Four exhibition halls including those for science bud, special makers, family experience, and experience related organizations are open for all from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A science bud exhibition hall is made by students from 60 local elementary, middle-school, and high-schools under science subjects.

Special lectures will be delivered by a professor in international geography science Olympiad and a current crime profiler.
