DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

A large scale, comprehensive showcase of machines /parts / robots : Daegu Machinery Expo 2019, was held on Nov 5 at the exhibition center Exco for three days.

Daegu city said the expo this year has split into three main sessions - the 20th Daegu Automatic Machinery Expo, the 14th Materials, Parts and Components Exhibition and the 8th Daegu Robot Expo- inviting 392 businesses from 19 countries.

For the 20th Daegu Automatic Machinery Expo, 512 exhibition stands and booths have been put up to display products and services of 182 companies, the largest ever. And 25 businesses ran a special pavilion showing smart factory technologies.

At the 14th Materials, Parts and Components Exhibition, 118 companies demonstrated metal /chemical materials, ceramic, 3D printing and aviation technologies.

Industrial and service robots were revealed at the 8th Daegu Robot Expo, supported by 92 invitees home and abroad. World class robot maker KUKA joined in four years and Japan’s YASUKAWA attended for eight consecutive year. Other than them, 15 robot clusters from 13 countries along with 400 specialists ran a three-day global robot business forum.
