In an attempt to promote business support & investment, targeting 50 more water businesses in Korea, the city of Daegu cohosted a special briefing session with Korea Water Technology Certification Agency, Korea Environment Corporation and DYTECH Research Institute on Dec. 18 at the National Water Industry Cluster, located inside the city.
At the venue, attendees were given detailed information on investment environment in water industry, business support they can benefit from, ways to well facilitate the cluster and management guidelines for national certification system. Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) shared how to tap deeper into overseas markets with the entrepreneurs invited.
“With regards to better investment environment, a one-stop solution to give easier access to business and a service for international certificates, Daegu city will further strengthen partnership with national water agencies to welcome promising businesses inside the cluster.”, a city official said. Reaching an investment agreement with Enertork, no.1 in the industry, the city has successfully accommodated 28 enterprises inside the national cluster so far. Seven, including Lotte Chemicals, have completed the relocation process and six are now under construction. The rest are reportedly planning to launch the project to move in till the end of next year.
