According to Yonhap News,
Dyetec Research Institute and Korea Environment Corporation (KEC), jointly running the national water cluster based in Daegu city, signed a memorandum of understating for the shared goal to help water industry in Korea further advance technology and expand its sales network into overseas markets. Gaining the national cluster as a foothold, both reached a consensus to support joint development of technologies, global market entry and HR training.
KEC provides a host of R&D infrastructure which encompasses a testing ground and research labs, global biz- centers. With its independent support center for water businesses, Dyetec Research Institute shares water technology specialists and provides technical support for the residents inside the cluster.
Both parties are aiming at hosting a series of exhibition and biz-coaching sessions to showcase technological progress, as part of marketing strategies for global market expansion.
National water cluster opened last September in the middle of the Daegu National Industrial Complex.
