Daegu city to train a large group of local AI, big data specialists
The city of Daegu revealed an outline on Aug 23 to step up the pace of fostering future tech specialists, as part of countermeasures to handle a tech talent shortage in the coming age of the fourth industrial revolution. Further specifically, the city government pours as much as KRW 7.1 billion in total into discovering and training nearly 1,000 software engineers who’re well ready to be mobilized under the detailed guidelines for the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT)’s “ICT innovation Square Project” by the year 2022.
