Daegu Technopark hosted an investment pitch event on Mar 5, an open venue to help businesses, particularly those with few chances of networking with investors in major cities, pitch business ideas to investors.

Six tech-startups showing brilliant ideas in A.I., robotic engineering and healthcare services and two local hidden champions headquartered in Daegu city attended the event and prepared a pitch deck to present their companies to prospective angel or VC investors based in capital cities. They showcased the company's products, technology and team to the investors, exploring possibilities and strategies of VC financing worth KRW 13.6 billion.

These eight participants have once picked out as shortlistees of the city’s biz-support programs, aiming at capacity building and attracting VC funds for local startups. They’ve been given one-on-one coaching services and advice on PR-material production for powerful pitch deck, prior to the investment pitch event.
