DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Daegu-si announced on July 11 that it set up a joint booth for local companies at The UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition from June 29 to July 1, supporting 304 business meetings worth USD 69.7 billion.

Of them, export contracts worth USD 26.3 billion were signed on the site. It doubles the record of last year, which stood at USD 13.7 billion.

Of 8 regional dental equipment companies participated at the exhibition, I Do Biotech, a company manufacturing implant-related products, signed contracts worth USD 850,000 with companies from Uzbekistan, Armenia, Iraq, and others.

Surgident, a pre-star enterprise in Daegu, signed contracts worth USD 200,000 with companies from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Israel, among others.

Lepio, another pre-star enterprise, signed contracts worth USD 550,000 through the exhibition.

A city official said, "we plan to set up a booth at the International Dental Show (IDS) to be held in September in Cologne, Germany and CADEX 2020 Central Asia Dental Expo to be held in October in Almaty, Kazakhstan to support dental companies carry out overseas marketing activities."
