2021 'Daegu Fashion Fair' which was held online due to the COVID-19 came to an end.
According to the Korea Research Institute for Fashion Industry (KRIFI) on September 1st, the Fashion Fair held at EXCO in Daegu on August 27-29 achieved consultations worth USD 9.46 million and order contracts worth USD 4.26 million.
This year's Daegu Fashion Fair was hosted by Daegu City and organized by the KRIFI. It was held through online video conferences due to heightened social distancing.

The Fashion Fair raised awareness of fashion companies and brands suffering from COVID-19, through online live sales broadcasts, and contributed to an increase in actual domestic sales. It is planned to improve online content further at the 2022 Daegu Fashion Fair scheduled for March 2 next year.
An official from the KRIFI said, "we ran multiple video business meetings at the same time on a large scale by preparing Korea's largest video consultation center and hiring professional consultation manpower. We will do our best to fultill the role of Daegu Fashion Fair, which connects Korea's fashion industry with buyers from all over the world."
