DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Daegu Machinery Expo 2021 (DAMEX 2021), showing the industrial trends of 3 areas including machinery, parts, and robot at once, is to be held at EXCO on November 16-19.

This year marks the 10th anniversary, hosted by Daegu-si, organized by ECXO, consists of 275 firms in 694 booths, prepared to provide a foundation for recovery of local companies in the era of gradual return to normal life (With COVID-19).

There will be online export consultation with 38 buyers from 5 foreign countries, one-on-on purchase consultations between large businesses and middle enterprises, among others.

Aviation-related items selected by the Republic of Korea Air Force Logistics Command will be on display, products by companies specialized in high-tech automobiles, metals, electronics will be exhibited in the joint pavilion by Daegu Technopark and Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority.

In particular, Daegu Global Robot Business Forum and International Robot Olympiad Korean Final Round will be held concurrently to focus on the robot industry this year.

The Daegu Global Robot Business Forum will be held at Hotel-Interburgo-Daegu on November 16 from 2pm to 6pm.

The Forum will be held under the topic of 'New Normal, New Challenge', to be aired Zoom as well.

In the Korean Final Rounds of International Robot Olympiad, 989 contenders, including 824 teams of elementary, middle-school, and high-school in 40 areas in 15 categories will be participating on November 18-21.
