According to Yonhap News,

Daegu-si announced on January 9 that 22 local companies participating in 'CES 2022', the world's largest IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, conducted consultations worth USD 25 million.

The city said that 22 local SMEs and startups participated in the CES 2022, held on January 5-7, opening up sales channels for the global market.

The city, which set up a joint pavilion in 2013 for the first time as a local government, has been participating in the CES for 10 years.

This year, local companies participated in the exhibition conducted a total of 420 consultations worth USD 25 million and signed local contracts worth USD 5.3 million.

Among them, Sunglim Advanced Industrial Co., Ltd., specialized in producing permanent magnets and motors for automobiles, signed a contract worth USD 5 million with an American company on the site for product supply including EV parts.
