According to Yonhap News,

Daegu-si said that it had signed an MOU for 'Fostering the Future Automobile Industry' with the Foundation of Korea Automotive Parts Industry Promotion and the Korea Intelligent Automotive Parts Promotion Institute (KIAPI).

The agreement was prepared to help local auto parts companies' transition to be future car-centered and foster the future car industry.

They will work together in consulting and education for auto parts companies, exchange of information, technology, and human resources to revitalize the future car industry, joint seminars on future car technology, and business briefing sessions for future car business reorganization.

The head of Daegu-si Innovation and Growth Bureau said, "It is expected that to serve as an opportunity to accelerate the transition of local auto parts companies to focus on future vehicles."
