DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Daegu-si is to sign a friendship city agreement with Bukhara in Uzbekistan.

Marking the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan, Deputy Mayor of Bukhara will pay a visit to Daegu, and sign an friendship city agreement with Mayor Hong Jun-pyo.

Located in the middle of Uzbekistan, Bakhara had been a prosperous city as a center of the Silk Road since the ancient times.

Also, the city is designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The agreement makes Bukhara the 27th sister city of Daegu's.
