Major car parts companies based in Daegu and Gyeongbuk are to convene and seek solutions for changes in the future mobility ecosystem.
The Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on Sep 13 that Sambo Motors and other agreement companies plan to explore directions for the industrial transition to overcome crises prompted by the drastic shift from internal combustion engines to eco-friendly vehicles at a seminar on Sep. 16.
Koo Young-mo at the Korea Automotive Technology Institute will deliver a lecture under the theme 'Understanding future cars' new technology trend and parts technology.'
Also, he will introduce the market trend of new technologies related to hydrogen vehicles, as well as the cases of new technologies and main parts technologies.
In the 'industrial transition, co-training center project' - operated by Sambo Motors and supported by the Ministry of Employment and labor - local car parts enterprises will be engaged as agreement companies.
