Daegu-si and the Daegu Gyeongbuk International Exchange Association(DGIEA) are to invite Ambassadors to Korea for the 2022 friendly night event at 5 p.m. on Nov. 25.
The event will be joined by ten ambassadors to Seoul, including the Czech Republic, Italy, and Morocco, and diplomatic officials from 20 countries.
Commemorating its 13th anniversary this year, the event will have the theme, 'innovation, harmony and peace.' Diplomats and officials from the DGIEA are also scheduled to have an exchange network.
The DGIEA is co-chaired by Daegu Mayor Hong Jun-pyo, Gyeongbuk Governor Lee Cheol-woo, and Gyemeyong University Principal Shin Yil-hee, with roughly 600 members participating.
On Nov. 24, Daegu Vice Mayor for Economic Affairs Lee Jong-Hwa expressed, "This would serve as a great opportunity to let people know about the efforts of Daegu and Gyeongbuk to become a global city. "
