Dalseong-gun, Daegu, and Kyungpook National University signed a business agreement on September 5 to establish a space engineering cluster and foster creative talents.
The two sides agreed to make efforts in creating a space base playground, building a space infrastructure center, fostering local talent in space engineering, and connecting with community development.
In particular, they agreed to endeavor to factor KRW 30 billion worth of state funds for the construction of a space infrastructure center into the government budget.
They will also push for the establishment of a cluster of education, research, academic, and industry for space engineering at Dalseong Campus of Kyungpook National University.
