According to Yonhap News,

In August, the trade balance of Daegu · Gyeongbuk-do recorded a surplus of USD 2.57 billion, the highest this year.

According to the Daegu Regional Customs on September 15, exports and imports of Daegu · Gyeongbuk-do in August amounted to USD 4.87 billion, USD 2.29 billion, respectively, resulting in a surplus of USD 2.57 billion.

Exports increased by 1.6% year-on-year while imports decreased by 16.2 percent.

In the case of Daegu, exports recorded USD 860 million while imports recorded USD 680 million, reaching a trade surplus of USD 180 million.

Exports of machinery (23.3%) and automobile·automobile parts (8.7%) rose, while exports of chemical products (-23.9%) dropped.

Gyeongbuk-do recorded a trade surplus of USD 2.39 billion with USD 4 billion in exports and USD 1.61 billion in imports.

Exports of steel products (25.8%) and chemical products (83.6%) went up, while exports of electric and electronic products (-22.7%) and machinery (-33.2%) shrank.
