According to Yonhap News,

In May, the trade balance of Daegu-Gyeongbuk recorded a surplus of USD 2.06 billion.

According to the regional import and export report in May by the Daegu Regional Customs, exports of Daegu and Gyeongbuk were USD 4 billion while imports were USD 1.94 billion, resulting in a surplus of USD 2.06 billion.

Year-on-year, exports and imports fell 11.4% and 31.1%, respectively, while the trade surplus rose 21.2%.

In the case of Daegu, the trade balance was a surplus of USD 190 million, with exports of USD 730 million and imports of USD 540 million.

Machinery and precision equipment (8.0%) and electrical and electronic products (6.0%) led the export.

In the case of Gyeongbuk, the trade balance was a surplus of USD 1.87 billion, with exports of USD 3.27 billion and imports of USD 1.4 billion.
