In May, the trade balance of Daegu-Gyeongbuk recorded a surplus of USD 2.06 billion.
According to the regional import and export report in May by the Daegu Regional Customs, exports of Daegu and Gyeongbuk were USD 4 billion while imports were USD 1.94 billion, resulting in a surplus of USD 2.06 billion.
Year-on-year, exports and imports fell 11.4% and 31.1%, respectively, while the trade surplus rose 21.2%.
