The trade balance in Daegu, Gyeongbuk in June recorded a surplus of USD 1.88 billion.
According to the import and export status data by the Daegu Regional Customs Office on July 15, Daegu and Gyeongbuk recorded exports of USD 3.69 billion and imports of USD 1.81 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of USD 1.88 billion.
Compared to the same month last year, exports and imports fell 10.7 percent and 31.1 percent, respectively, while the trade surplus increased 25.3 percent.
Daegu reported exports of USD 750 million and imports of USD 450 million, resulting in the trade balance surplus of USD 300 million.
