DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Lotte Chilsung Beverage will build a regional distribution center equipped with the latest automation facilities in Kumho Waterpolis, Buk-gu, Daegu.

The Daegu Metropolitan Government announced that it had signed an MOU with Lotte Chilsung Beverage to build a Daegu Regional Distribution Center at the city hall on August 12.

Lotte Chilsung Beverage will invest KRW 120 billion to build the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) on a 19,436㎡ (5,879 pyeong) site in Kumho Waterpolis, a high-tech industrial complex in Daegu. Construction of the facility will begin in March 2025 and be completed in the first quarter of 2027.

The RDC has been planned to be equipped with the latest automation facilities and technologies including automatic storage/retri system and transport robots.

As Kumho Waterpolis is adjacent to N.Daegu IC, it is easy to use Gyeongbu, Jungang, Daegu, and Busan highways.

It has been said that Lotte Chilsung is also planning to contribute to job creation, in such ways as hiring local residents first.

Lotte Chilsung Beverage CEO said, "We will build the Daegu RDC as a landmark for smart logistics services with the aim to build a safe and eco-friendly distribution center."
