According to Pulse by Maeil Business News Korea,
The Future Innovation Tech EXPO 2024 (FIX 2024), South Korea’s largest technology exhibition, will take place from October 23rd to 26th, 2024, at EXCO in Daegu. The event will showcase cutting-edge advancements across the future mobility, robotics, and ABB (artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain) sectors from 463 companies across 2,071 booths.
The mobility section, located in EXCO’s East Hall, will highlight both global and regional trends in the sector. Participating companies include major players like Tesla, Hyundai Motor, Kia, and General Motors, alongside Autonomous a2z, a regional autonomous vehicle firm based in North Gyeongsang Province. Tesla’s long-awaited Cybertruck, which is yet to be launched in Korea, will be displayed alongside Hyundai’s concept vehicle, the Space Mobility. Hyundai Mobis will also unveil ‘Movion,’ featuring next-generation electric vehicle technologies such as diagonal driving and zero-turn functionality.
In the robotics field, the expo will mark the Korean debut of Artemis, a next-generation humanoid robot developed by Virginia Tech’s Robotics & Mechanisms Laboratory (RoMeLa). Another highlight will be the presentation of ‘evoBOT,’ a logistics demonstration robot developed by Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute.
The ABB sector will showcase advanced technologies from industry leaders including SK telecom, KT, and Amazon Web Services, giving attendees a glimpse into the latest innovations.
