Daegu-si attracted investment of three water-related companies in the Korea Water Cluster

On November 14, Daegu-si announced that it has signed MOUs with three companies related to the water industry for investment in the Korea Water Cluster.

The city has signed an investment agreement with Namutree, JTechWater, and Naekang at Daegu EXCO, where the Korea International Water Week 2024 is taking place.

These companies, which posses patents and promising technologies in the water industry, are going to establish their manufacturing plants at the Water Industry Cluste in Dalseong-gun.

They plan to build production lines by investing a total of KRW 21 billion on the site of 23,000㎡, starting full-fledged operation from next year.

The city plans to support them to grow through life-cycle support program, including water technology development, certification and verification, commercialization, and overseas expansion.
