HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, a manufacturer of heavy construction equipment, received renewed certification in the export and import sectors.

All three companies received an 'A' grade certification.

With these new accreditations, the number of AEO companies managed by Daegu Customs has increased to 53.

AEO certified companies can receive benefits such as reduced inspection rates for import/export goods, expedited customs clearance, exemption from customs audits, and conveniences in immigration screening. Preferential interest rates from some financial institutions also apply.

Furthermore, export competitiveness is expected to be strengthened as these companies can receive the same customs clearance benefits when exporting to 25 major trading partners—including the U.S., China, and Japan—that have signed a Mutual Recognition Arrangement for AEO.

An official from Daegu Main Customs stated, "Through the AEO system, we will support companies in securing global export competitiveness while creating a safe and trustworthy trade environment."
