According to Yonhap News,
Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone (DGFEZ) Authority has embarked on attracting investment from CEOs of German companies which have invested in Korea.
DGFEZ Authority said on January 21st that it will hold an investment seminar along with Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) at Grand Hilton Seoul at five p.m. on January 24th.
Around 110 people including CEOs of German companies which have operated their business in Korea and the German ambassador to Korea.
The Authority plans to explain the strengths and advantages of DGFEZ in IT convergence, high-tech transportation components and materials, green energy, knowledge service, etc.
Commissioner Park In-cheol of DGFEZ Authority said “Korea-EU FTA, which is slated to take effect this July, will draw more interest of German companies in Korea.”
