Daegu Collection Opening Show

Clothes designed by Choi Bok-ho grabbed eyes of spectators at the opening show of Daegu Collection at Fashion Center Korea on March 9th.

Preview in Daegu (PID), which was opened March 8th, posted an increase in consultations by 17% compared to last year.

PID recorded consultations worth USD 135.62 million for four days with 296 participating companies, the highest number so far.

The consultation result is 17% higher than last year’s USD 116.18 million.

PID Secretariat expects that USD 54.26 million will lead to actual contracts.

Especially, export consultations numbered 4,520, 19% increase from 3,791 last year.

Also, 18,604 visited PID, 6.8% more than last year’s 17,418.

The Secretariat said “next year’s PID will be even larger than this year, since the construction to expand EXCO, the venue for the event, will be finished soon.”
