Export of dental products

Green light is on for the export of dental product companies in Daegu.
According to Daegu Technopark (President Lee Joung-seop) on March 28th, Daegu companies signed export agreements worth USD 7 million at International Dental Show 2011 held at Cologne, Germany for five days from March 22nd.
The 34th IDS is the world’s leading trade fair for the dental sector where about 1,800 exhibitors from 56 countries participate. Around 90 Korean companies in the dental industry attended the event and competed fiercely to export their products.
Saeshin Precision and Saeyang Microtech, which are star companies in Daegu, signed export agreements worth USD 3 million each. Also, the export agreements concluded by Mega Gen and Bowon Dental are worth USD 100,000 to 600,000. An official of Daegu Technopark said other regional companies had export consultations worth USD 3.4 million.
At ‘LMT lab day in Chicago 2011’ held in the U.S. for six days from February 23rd, five Daegu companies signed USD 150,000 agreements and USD 900,000 consultations.
President Lee Joung-seop said “we will spare no efforts in supporting marketing activities of regional companies, as they have raised remarkable results in foreign markets with their advanced technologies.”
