DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Softkinetic, a leading provider of gesture-based platform for consumer electronics and professional markets, invests in Daegu and Gyeongbuk.

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone(DGFEZ) said that Brussel-based Softkinetic decided to set up a 3D contents development center in Daegu.

Commissioner of DGFEZ and CEO of Softkinetic signed MOU on June 22nd.

The two parties will discuss details regarding the establishment of contents development center.

Softkinetic was founded in 2007, and has become a leading player in gesture recognition solution which can be applied to various fields.

The commissioner said that the investment will create a synergy in display and mobile industries, contributing to the development of a 3D convergence industry.
