According to Yonhap News,
Daegu-Gyeongbuk High-tech Medical Industry Foundation said on July 25 that it will sign a joint R&D agreement with Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology on July 26 for the cultivation of medical industry.
Under the agreement, they will conduct joint research on the development of new medicines and cutting-edge medical devices, and cooperate on the exchange specialists and utilization of research facilities and equipment.
High-tech Medical Industry Foundation has signed agreements with major research institutes and local universities to secure source technologies.
President Kim Yu-seung said that the agreement will lay the foundation on the development of core technologies.
