DGFEZ to Operate Ombudsman Program for Foreign-Invested Companies

According to Yonhap News,

Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone(DGFEZ) said on October 6 that it will operate a foreign-invested company ombudsman program to resolve their difficulties.

Commissioner of the DGFEZ plans to visit representative foreign-invested companies in the region such as Toray Advanced Material Korea.

The DGFEZ will listen to difficulties of foreing investors in Korea, and seek ways to support them.

The number of foreign-invested companies in the region totals 472 as of September, and manufacturing companies account for 44.1%.

Commissioner said that the DGFEZ will continue to operate an ombudsman program with a recognition that foreign-invested companies are the backbone of the regional economy and partners for shared growth.
