According to Yonhap News,
The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone (DGFEZ) authority will organize a customized investment attraction seminar for Japanese investment corporations and relevant institutions at Lotte Hotel in Seoul.
The seminar will draw 20 Japanese participants including Tadashi Kobayashi, General Manager of Sumitomo's arm in Korea.
Starting from the seminar, the authority plans to continue its efforts to draw Japanese investors by sending newsletters written in Japanese to them and participating in seminars hosted by Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"We signed investment attraction MOUs with Japanese companies to invest in Yeongcheon Cutting-Edge Parts and Materials Industrial Complex and Technopolis. We will work hard to attract more Japanese investment to the DGFEZ," said Choi Byeong-rok, director of the authority.
