According to Yonhap News,

Daegu Mayor Kim Beom-il is scheduled to take part in the stockholders' meeting to be held in the HQ of Berkshire Hathaway in the State of Nebraska.

Given that the stockholders' meeting, to be held from Saturday to Sunday, will attract about 35,000 important participants including CEOs, it will serve as a great opportunity for Daegu to establish networks with global companies.

Mayor Kim decided to join the meeting in a response to Warren Buffet's visit to Daegu in October 2007 and March 2011.

He plans to visit six American companies that demonstrated their willingness to invest in Daegu.

Kim said, "I will promote Daegu's strengths to American companies that are interested in making investment in Daegu."
