According to Yonhap News,
The 2013 Korea International Livestock Expo (KISTOCK) will be held at Daegu Expo for four days from September 25.
Daegu has been selected as the host city to organize Korea's largest livestock expo by Korea Dairy & Beef Farmers Association.
The livestock expo is held every two years to enhance the competitiveness of the domestic livestock industry.
Daegu had successfully completed the 7th KISTOCK by attracting 243 producers from 13 countries in 2011.
"The expo will be a venue to give foreign companies an opportunity to invest in Korea. We will make utmost efforts to enhance the status of the expo by increasing the number of business booths for domestic companies to expand their exports," said An Guk-jeong, Director of Daegu Economy and Commerce Bureau.
